  1.    There are several files to edit to customise amigaNos to your own station
  2.    requirements, these are summarised below:

  4. nos-startup              this file contains your callsign and IP number. It
  5.                          also defines the baud rate of the interface to the
  6.                          TNC and several ax25 and mbox params.
  7.  
  8. spool/signature          Your individual signature is in here, it is added to
  9.                          all mail you might send, on the bottom.
  10.  
  11.  
  12. spool/signon             This contains your introductory messages sent as a 
  13.                          remote Station logs onto various parts of your
  14.                          system.
  15.  
  16.  
  17. spool/help/Mbox.info     A file containing your system info. seen by remote
  18.                          mailbox users when they hit the i  key
  19.  
  20.  
  21. Netrom-Startup or        Contains your call, alias etc to set up a netrom
  22. Startup.netrom           node
  23.  
  24. spool/finger             the tcp version of the above, keep it small 
  25.                          otherwise nos locks up!
  26.  
  27. FTPusers                 Contains calls, passwords privileges and areas of 
  28.                          of the disk accessible for ALL users, including 
  29.                          YOU! if your entry is not in here, you wont get into
  30.                          your own mbox.

  33. Domain.txt               Must contain all contactable hosts on tcpip, other-
  34.                          wise you will get unknown host.. errors. You CAN
  35.                          however type in directly the IP number instead of the
  36.                          call ie. tel 44.131.1.132 instead of tel g4ufg.

  39.      ** notes for hard disk users ** Amiganos works spectacularly well on a
  40.      hard disk, it always looks for its files on a device called TCPIP: so
  41.      either create a partition called TCPIP: for it or assign an existing
  42.      partition for it in your startup-sequence ie  assign TCPIP: dh0:
